A professional artist for almost forty years and internationally known for her jazz paintings, Ezshwan is also an art teacher and lecturer. Over ten years ago she began her continuing series based on personal experience with the changes she feels face all women. "... In some of the latest paintings... Ezshwan ... was honoring the slowly recognized potential goddess in every woman. While these works have an immediate appeal for most women who recognize in their imagery a map of their own consciousness, these elegant paintings also offer men a glimpse into a world wherein they are rarely invited." (Joseph E. Young: Curator Emeritus, Los Angeles County Museum of Art). Her work has been featured at In Her Image Gallery, Portland; Galerie Living Colours, Ashland; the Grants Pass Museum; the Rogue Gallery, Medford; the University of Oregon's Adell McMillian Gallery, presenting "Art for the Empowerment of Women," Artisimo Gallery in Scottsdale; Galleria LeNoir, San Miguel de Allende; Wey Gallery, San Miguel de Allende. Partial list of collectors: Pendelton Corporation, Whittman-Hart Corporation: Chicago, Milwaukee & Indianapolis, Casa Grande Museum AZ, Paradise Valley College AZ.
