Changing my artistic direction from the colorful layers of encaustic and oil and cold wax, I am using t a "lighter hand" with delicate watercolor and inks, topped with a clear encaustic layer, then adding more delicate colors on very thin rice paper., and adding one or two more layers of clear encaustic wax. I intend for the layers to show and draw the viewer into the light, peaceful painting.
