Available paintings

I have been busy in the studio this year, often painting over older encaustic work and creating cold wax smaller parintings.

Interntional shipping is available. For the recent series"Sweet Dreams" I used encaustic to capture all the sweetness 
of my favorite desserts. These were inspired by Richard Diebenkorn's interpretation of food and deserts. I continue to make the mixed media encaustic paintings using very fine rice paper the I tint with watercolor and embed into the waarm wax to create layered dimention. 

I invite the viewer to discover ever new dimentions and energy in each thoughtfully created, one of a kind painting.

I have a dangerous sweet tooth, but  monitor my intake. It was an interesting challenge to create realistic details with encaustic.
I had fun painting these non-caloric visual sweet treats. They are traditional encaustic enhanced with water based encaustic.
