The newest series, "Listen To The Beat"  2022 - 2023
For 12 years, I sketched and painted only jazz musicians , while traveling with my husband, Kai Winding, one the Bebop era's  legends. I always kept a sketch book and pen with me  as I sat in the audience of clubs, concerts, jazz festivals and recording studios in France, Denmark, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, England, Spain and the United States.

In this series, I wanted to include images of those exciting music filled days by using digital images of my own  work most of which was sold many years ago.  I am adding  my personal images of the giants of jazz captured into the mixed media, encaustic abstracts while my studio is filled the beat of  jazz recordings of my husband and all of the other great that I was privileged to meet.
